Greetings From Hirokazu Kanazawa Soke
Dear Members of The NPO SKIF.
I would like to thank you for the great and excellent support that you have given to me and SKIF since I started on my journey in 1978 to build one of the largest and multi cultural Karate organisations, that has helped to bring peace and international friendship through Karate-Do regardless of Politics, Personal faith beliefs, and cultural differences, to the five continents.
This could not have been done without the help and dedication of my worldwide family. Again I thank you dearly from my heart. I was very happy by the transition of Kancho to Nobuaki Kanazawa and Chief Instructor Manabu Murakami at our 11th AGM in 2013.
We had our 11th World Championships in Sydney Australia which was very successful and gave me great happiness to have held our World Championships on five Continents.
70 Participating countries took part however unfortunately due to strict entry visa requirements by the Australian Government over 23 countries could not obtain permission to enter.
Our 11th World Championships in Australia was the largest worldwide even organized by one individual.
With the happiness of the five continents in my heart and mind I decided there to transit my position to the next generation, the 40 year olds who through hard work, experience, and dedication, I am quite sure will exceed all expectations in to the future, in further developing of SKIF, to develop good leaders of Karate-Do and further expand SKIF Worldwide, I am quite sure that my family of SKIF Worldwide, will support them in every way as you have supported me.
With best Wishes
Soke Hirokazu Kanazawa

Carta de agradecimiento de Nobukai Kanazawa
Greetings From Nobuaki Kanazawa Kancho
On the occasion of becoming the second Kancho of SKIF, I am humbled by the great responsibility that has been entrusted in me.
For many years, SKIF’s founder and first Kancho, the current Kanazawa Soke, along with the elders and seniors who came before me, worked diligently to build this global organization. Respecting the expectations of Kanazawa Soke and my elders and betters, I intend to work together with Chief Instructor Murakami to realize further growth and development for SKIF.
Kanazawa Soke has said, “The more peace there is, the weaker people’s character becomes. When people grow weaker, there is a risk that manners and etiquette will decline.” Bearing this in mind, I will strive to remain continually aware of the challenges of our time and work to ensure that our federation continues to be one that turns out the kind of well-balanced global citizens that Kanazawa Soke always aspired to be.
“There is no path for me aside from this path. This is the path that I will follow.” Proceeding in the spirit of this maxim, I look forward to your continued cooperation and support.
With best Wishes
Kancho Nobuaki Kanazawa
Carta de agradecimiento de Manabu Murakami
Greetings From Sensei Manabu Murakami Chief Instructor
My Karate life started when I began training and moving on with SKI and I am quite sure the same as all of you I deeply admired, adored and respected Soke since my childhood which encouraged me to train hard at the Dojo to build my spirit and technique under Soke’s guidance.
I participated at every opportunity to compete at every one of All Japan Championships, and SKIF World Championships which was an excellent way to meet and become acquainted with many Sensei’s and make so many good Karate friends in so many countries of different cultures which still exist to the present day.
The position that I was assigned to as Chief Instructor is a very important mission for me into which I will put my body mind and soul and devote my life to this mission.
We all have a duty and responsibility to pass on to the next generation of Shotokan Karate-Do International Federation Soke Kanazawa’s Karate-Do Spirit and technique, this is my desire to develop more hard training and passion towards this mission.
I would appreciate for all of you to strive to this mission with me, and to support me in this.
